Join us for fun, fitness and friendly competition
The only thing missing is you!

Lawn bowling is a fun, friendly sport. You’ll get some exercise for both your body and your mind. You’ll meet new people in a friendly, social atmosphere. And you can compete at whatever level best suits you—from social atmosphere in a game we call 4-3-2-1 to Canadian championships.

Our facility includes natural lawn bowling greens and an artificial surface, which gives one of the longest long bowling seasons in Ontario, April 1 to November 30.

We are located at 150 Beecroft Road, literally an oasis in the heart of North York. We have some on-site parking and we’re two short blocks from North York Centre subway stop.

We provide bowls and training so you can get started quickly. We can match you with a coach and you can polish your skills with our unique Skills & Drills program on Tuesday evenings. Thursday night is newbie night. We have games and leagues organized every day, including weekends, and our long weekend jitneys are always a lot of fun.

Our members are friendly. Everyone is there to help you become part of the Willowdale club in no time at all. We welcome everyone.

And once you become a member for only $180 per year (which includes a free on-site locker), you have access to the property virtually any time you wish, so you can practice your skills or set up games with others seven days a week.

Willowdale member Vince Donahoe skipped the men's fours team to gold at the provincial championships in Hanover on June 11 to 13. Vince, on the left, is joined by lead Gary Butineau (Midland), second Mark McFayden (Port Credit) and vice-skip Glen Patton (Midland). Interestingly, for a period of time Vince technically held both provincial singles and fours titles. He won the men's division in 2019 as a solo bowler. Because of COVID, the next provincial champion was crowned July 10, 2022. Vince and his teammates represented Ontario in the national championships in Burlington in August 2022, finishing fourth. Congratulations Vince et al.
